Why should I want to be a "Preferred Investor" of Harper Auction & Realty ?
We are constantly discussing the advantages of Auction Marketing with clients. Because we are out there finding
the properties that may qualify for auction, we are in a unique position to find potential bargains where time is more
important than the bottom line. These are great auction candidates, but because we much prefer selling at
Absolute Auction, it can often be a tough sell to the frightened seller who obviously does not want his/her property
to be "given away". The sellers are rightly concerned that when offered at Absolute Auction, there are no
guarantees, and in fact, that the property WILL sell to the highest bidder regardless of price. We know that
Absolute Auctions offer the best opportunity for the seller to realize top dollar, but quite frankly, this is often the
deal breaker. When we accept property for Absolute Auction, we usually cover all up-front marketing costs,
making the cost to the seller less of a sticking point. We LOVE Absolute Sales, as do our bidders!
If we can afford it, we sometimes let the seller know that we will guarantee an opening bid so that they have some
level of comfort with the process. Our pockets are, however, only so deep, and many deals are beyond our
modest means. This is where YOU come in! By vetting agreed opening bids with our Preferred Investors, we can
sign up better deals, which means more Absolute Auctions for you guys and gals. Everyone wins!
How will you use my e-mail and phone information?
This is a proprietary list to be used only by us. We do not sell lists or names, nor do we share this outside our
company. We will not constantly blast you with e-mail flyers, unless you wish to also sign up for our regular mailing
list. (If you wish to be on both lists, please indicate that in remarks) This list will only be used to advise you of
investment opportunities for agreements to bid (so that we can offer the property at Absolute Auction), or in some
instances, so that a pre-auction negotiation and contract can be secured. Great properties do not always make it
to auction as pre-auction sale is an option we leave open to our client.
Can I specify the type of property I would be interested in, only being consulted when I am
really interested?
Actually, we wish you would. We do not want to bother you with investments that do not fit your investment plan. If
you are a "land" guy, but not interested in rentals, let us know and we will so order the list. Commercial but not
residential? - just let us know. Most of us, however, just love a good deal, and if that is you, we will let you know
about them all. With your access to funds, and our access to potential bargain properties, the ultimate winner is
the seller, who after all is our client.
